-He loved coffee so much that he wrote an entire cantata about it.

-When he was 7, Bach went to school where he was instructed on religion and learned Latin and other subjects.

-His father, Johann Ambrosius Bach, was a town musician and gave Bach his early music lessons.

-Bach's wife, who was also his cousin, Maria had died in 1720

-In 1721, he married Anna Magdalena Wilcke, and had 13 children together with her.
